Gratitudely is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

What we collect

• Your entries — the recipient name, your private notes, chosen message style, and the AI-generated message are stored to power your journal and sending history.
• Usage data — basic statistics such as messages sent and dates, used only to display your in-app stats.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not share your data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

AI message generation

When you generate a message, your input (recipient name and notes) is sent to an AI service to produce the message. This is used solely to generate your message and is not stored or used for training by us.

Sending messages

Messages are sent via your device's native WhatsApp or SMS apps. Gratitudely does not have access to your contacts or messages beyond what you type into the app.

Data storage

Your entries — including recipient names, message styles, AI-generated messages, and sender names — are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Replit's infrastructure. We do not sell or share this data with any third parties.

Your rights

You can delete all your data directly within the app at any time. Go to the Journal tab and tap Delete All My Data — deletion is instant and permanent. No request or email needed.
